When a Worldwide Pandemic Changes Your Wedding Plans

The best stories don’t usually happen without obstacles that the hero’s have to overcome. When COVID-19 lockdown forced this couple to postpone their Colorado wedding, Kaia + Kelby had to overcome their own obstacles and change their plans! In May of 2020, Kai and Kelby messaged and asked if we would be willing to brave the Texas heat that June and capture their wedding day. Their original dream of getting married in Colorado turned into a wedding at a friend’s ranch in North Texas. Joined only by their family and closest friends, it still turned out to be a beautiful day!

As disappointing as it was to change their plans, this is part of their story. And they will still remember this lovely (although hot!), Texas summer day for the rest of their lives.
